SEAGULLS, Tokai men’s basketball team
Tokai university has many sports teams. One of the famous and strong teams is the SEAGULLS. It was organized in 1960. There are 66 players. The SEAGULLS are divided into two teams, the A team and B team. The A is stronger than the B`s. It serves the players because they should practice hard, if they want to belong to the A team. The A team won the Japan student championship in 2012. As well as playing, the SEAGULLS teach basketball to children. Basketball is not popular in Japan yet, so they try to exchange with kids positively. I have watched their games. It excited me! If you are interested in the SEAGULLS, you should see their web site.
